Rules and Guidelines

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved, please read and adhere to the following rules:

  1. Respect and Cooperation

    • All participants are expected to be respectful, kind, and cooperative with each other and all event leaders, volunteers, and bus staff.
    • We are a community event, so let’s make sure everyone feels included, safe, and comfortable.
  2. Safety First

    • Tubing will take place at a designated and safe area. Follow the safety instructions provided by event organizers and tubing staff.
    • Wear proper winter clothing, including waterproof outerwear, gloves, hats, and boots to ensure warmth and comfort during the event.
    • Ensure your tubes are properly secured before use. Safety is paramount, and the event leaders will conduct a briefing before the start.
  3. Bus Behavior

    • Be respectful of others on the school bus, keep noise levels to a minimum, and do not engage in any dangerous or disruptive behavior during transport.
    • Seatbelts must be worn at all times while on the bus, and everyone must stay seated during the ride unless instructed otherwise.
  4. Alcohol and Drugs

    • No alcohol or illegal substances are allowed on the bus or at the tubing location. The safety and well-being of all participants are of the highest priority.
  5. Group Supervision

    • Children and minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
    • A volunteer or staff member will supervise the group during the trip, tubing activity, and bus ride back.
  6. Personal Responsibility

    • Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings. The event organizers are not liable for lost or damaged items.
    • If you have any health concerns (allergies, medical conditions, etc.), please inform the organizers ahead of time.
  7. Weather-Related Adjustments

    • In case of extreme weather conditions, the event may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled. Participants will be informed in advance.
  8. Respect the Environment

    • Do not litter. Please keep the tubing area and bus clean by disposing of trash in designated bins.
    • Treat the tubing location with respect, ensuring we leave it as we found it.

Waiver and Release of Liability

By participating in this tubing trip, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Assumption of Risk
    I understand that tubing and travel to the event location involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or accidents. I voluntarily accept and assume these risks as part of my participation in the event.

  2. Release of Liability
    I hereby release and hold harmless the Romani Community, event organizers, volunteers, school bus staff, and any associated entities from any liability for personal injury, property damage, or loss, arising from my participation in the tubing trip and related activities. This release applies to all claims, including those caused by negligence, and extends to my heirs, personal representatives, and assigns.

  3. Medical Treatment
    In the event of an emergency, I consent to receive medical treatment if necessary, and I agree to bear all costs associated with such treatment.

  4. Photography and Video Consent
    I give my permission for photographs or video footage taken during the event to be used for promotional purposes, both in print and online. If I do not wish to be photographed, I will notify the event organizers.

  5. Compliance with Event Rules
    I agree to comply with all event rules and guidelines outlined above. Failure to do so may result in my removal from the event without refund or compensation.
